About Robert O'Hair
My wife Phyllis and I have called Covington home since 2005 when we moved after our New Orleans residence was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Our northshore home, friends, neighbors and community is an environment we love and we've stayed over 20 years.
I am a now retired graphic designer who still enjoys design, painting, writing, photography and whose passions include making and eating fine food, listening to and making sweet music, walking and biking, gardening. An avid reader I am a lifelong learner driven by the discovery of new connections. I thrill by observing and recording a glimpse of beauty. I like to study art history and studio techniques by masters, enjoy seeing shows and exhibitions, perfomances and local cultural events as well as occasional volunteering. Visually the interplay of light and shadow, color hues, form and pattern excite me. And, as always I am in awe of the quiet resilience of nature.
